About
Chaplain Bruce is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He has served as the college’s chaplain since January 2007. In his 39 years of ministry, Rev. Bruce has served as a national program staff-person with his denomination, a campus minister at Texas Christian University, and had congregational positions in Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky and Texas. He is married to Rev. Carolyn Roper-Fowlkes, a hospice chaplain, and they have two boys, Rob and John.
