Our Mission
The mission of the DLP is to cultivate lifelong learners and servant leaders, rooted in the Disciples of Christ tradition of faith and intellectual curiosity. The program seeks to resource and empower diverse leaders, rooted in faithful curiosity, capable of navigating leadership in an ever-unfolding society with knowledge, understanding and compassion.
Our Values
Students in the Disciples Leadership Program develop essential skills for success. The program emphasizes intellectual hospitality, service of neighbor, inclusivity, professionalism, relationship building, knowledge of diverse religious traditions, problem solving, and readiness for future vocation and service within and beyond the church.
